Spice is an essential seasoning in our daily life. They make food taste better. In many Europe countries, in their recipe, paprika powder plays an important role, it could make food look brighter, and make the soup more delicious. But the problem is when harvesting the paprika,  how does the supplier to propper storage raw material paprika and maintain it is the best quality before the ground. Below are four points it is that have been done to keep paprika fresh. 

Keep away from heat and get wet

When a truck raw material paprika ship to Factory and before storing in cold storage. These goods must be kept away from places with high temperatures, such as near the kitchen, next to flammable items, or other sources of high heat.

When storing goods in the open air, be sure to put a pallet underneath to prevent the goods from soaking and when it rains. Keep it cool and dry

The moisture of paprika is one of the most important things. High moisture may cause goods to become black in color due to overheating after a while of storing, Low moisture may affect the color value of ASTA and the taste of food. 

Before storing it in the cold storage warehouse, we will use sunlight natural way to dry the paprika. When meeting the required moisture standards (less than 14%), they will be bagged by weight and stored in the cold storage.

What is the temperature required when stored in cold storage?

From the 2006 years to today, we have built 8 cold storage warehouses to store raw materials. It can store more than 9000 Tons of raw materials and finished food. If put paprika at a temperature of 70F to 80F (21 C to 27 C), will lose about 1% of its color value Asta every 10 days. The higher the temperature, the losses are even more rapid.

In summer, the temperature is basically controlled at 32 F to 45 F (0 C to 7 C), that temperature range could maximum guarantee the quality of paprika. In winter, the temperature outside is relatively low, we need to keep the cold storage clean and air circulation. 

Keep away from sunlight

When finished products, such as paprika powder, we will put them in the finished items warehouse. The windows in this warehouse are blocked by sun visors to prevent sunlight from shining on the product bags and causing the products to lose color

Train your Staff

Train employees on how to remove impurities and select suitable raw materials for storage in daily work. 

In a word, knowing how to proper storage paprika is a very important thing. The following points are most important, first avoid overheating and getting wet, second, put raw materials in a dry and cool place, and third, notice the temperature required when stored in cold storage. Fourth, the finished warehouses need to keep away from sunlight. Finally, strengthen the daily training of employees.
